For repairs performed prior to Feb 1, 2020 our warranty stated on each invoice:

For repairs performed after Feb 1, 2020 our warranty states:

Warranty Period

  1. For repairs performed before Feb 1, 2020, new parts carry a 12 month/12,000 mile (which ever occurs first) limited parts and labor warranty that the work will be free from defects in material or workmanship unless otherwise specified on the invoice next to the part, and Warranty work must be performed by JD Auto Service and Repair, LLC.
  2. For repairs performed after Feb 1, 2020, new parts carry a 24 month/24,000 mile (which ever occurs first) limited parts and labor warranty that the work will be free from defects in material and workmanship unless otherwise specified on the invoice next to the part.
  3. Used parts carry a 30 day limited parts and labor warranty that the work will be free from defects in materials or workmanship unless otherwise specified on the invoice.
  4. Customer provided parts are only warranted to be installed correctly. Typically, parts sellers only provide a part warranty and not labor, which means if the part fails labor would probably have to be paid again by the customer.
  5. A warranty action does not re-extend the period of the warranty. If, for example, a starter is installed and fails a few months later, the warranty period still exists from the date of the original install; it does not start over again with the date of the warranty starter.

Warranty Limits

  1. For repairs performed prior to February 1, 2020 contact us directly to arrange service.
  2. For repairs performed after February 1, 2020 and the warranty breakdown is within 25 miles of JD Auto Service, please contact us directly to handle the repair.   3. Warranties exclude incidental and consequential damages including but not limited to towing, loss of the vehicle, lost time from work, vehicle rentals, or damage to other components on the vehicle.
  4. Warranty work cannot exceed the original cost of the repair.
  5. Warranties exclude abuse, misuse, and neglect including but not limited to lack of necessary and proper fluids, or failure to provide proper maintenance as recommended by the manufacturer.
  6. Warranties exclude damage not caused by failure of the part or improper installation, including but not limited to damage from a vehicle accident, for example.

Warranty Remedies

In case of warranty issues, JD Auto Service and Repair LLC reserves the option to perform remedial work at no charge to you, replace the defective warranted part(s) without charge to you, or to refund the charge for the warranted repairs less any previous refunds or credits.
